He also shows how government and its propagandists in the media manufacture various crises to create fear and panic in the public so as to manipulate the public into surrendering their minds (and their liberties) to government. And, sadly, many Christian preachers use sensationalism surrounding these hyped-up fears to promote their private interpretations of prophecy.
God has not given us the spirit of fear. Obviously, people who try to create the spirit of fear in us are not of God.
