Jochebed was the mother of Moses. She was indeed the great mother of a great man. Clearly, God used Jochebed to help make Moses the great man he became, as God used so many mothers through the centuries.
Pastor Baldwin also shows from Scripture that Moses' killing of the Egyptian taskmaster was NOT an act of murder and how the men of Israel spent an extra 40 years in slavery due to their lack of spiritual discernment regarding Moses' actions on that day. He makes the application that the lack of spiritual discernment by "Christian" men today is likewise portending the enslavement of America.
