Scripture Text: Job 2: 1 - 4
Inundation regarding the corona narrative has produced almost universal fear throughout America—including among professing Christians. This fear CANNOT be of God, because the Scripture tells us "God hath NOT given us the spirit of fear." (II Tim. 1:7)
In the story of Job, Satan slandered Job to God saying that Job would surrender his faith and courage if his life was threatened. "Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life," Satan declared.
And it is true: Without a genuine Spirit-filled life, the devil IS able to use threats against our lives to frighten us. And given the kind of "Me-First" preaching that has inundated America over the last several decades, even many professing Christians today are easy marks for the devil's fearmongering.
Without a doubt, Satan is using the purveyors of fear of the coronavirus to destroy the moral and spiritual courage of the American people (including Christians) to fight for and defend Liberty.
No message today is more pertinent and powerful than this one.
