Scripture Text: Hebrews 12:1 - 11
The latest presidential election is just another example of the fact that God is chastening the Church. If the Church doesn't quickly learn the lessons that God is trying to teach us and respond with the humility, wisdom and courage that God demands of us, His chastening of the Church will become a thorough judgment of the nation—a judgment which, too, has begun.
The problem is not the politicians or their parties—no matter how corrupt; the problem is the Church. "Judgment must begin at the house of God."
